Bubbles in the city…

 

While the people were exhausted from the heat of summer city heat and hot asphalt, we worked hard to alleviate their plight, adding particles of freshness and coolness to the normal summer day, filling it with mineral water bubbles. Make bubbles in the organic environment in which they obviously can not be — a difficult task. In this case, they were flying in the air, as if in water, and thus there is no doubt in their naturalness. In this regard, the project we started with a dense study of form, color, behavior and properties of these bubbles. It was reviewed by numerous images and video files, filled with water and carbon dioxide, and then, confident in their abilities, we have started to rebuild. Initially, there were several tests in which the means for generating bubbles drastically different. Then, under the watchful eye of the director, was finally determined by how precisely the stages and methods by which goals will be performed.

 

 

In this project, the studio workflow was very well planned, so no one was burning in the workplace and, thus, sufficient time to pay attention to all sorts of nice subtleties in the video. The main terms of the introduction, we have received from the agency, it was — that the bubbles should not be large, but not too small and that they should not resemble soap bubbles. Also take into account the wishes of the director of the interaction of bubbles with the environment, such as bending of the trees, and above all the girls surrounding their care and attention.

 

 

During the study, we identified some key features of bubbles: they stuck to the more dense objects, they can do beautifully refract light and easy to distinguish from the soap, the style of movement. Mineral bubbles move much faster and mostly like trains — that is, the individual threads, which followed one after the other. And yet, when you open the bottle, the bubbles appear «explosion», but not smoothly.

 

We have created bubbles with 3D graphics, then add them to the video layers: background, middle distance, and our favorite bubbles defocused — on the foreground. Some shots have changed dramatically several times, some say the first time, but in any case we were very interested in working on this commercial and we are glad that we could fill the hot, dreary town of freshness and gaiety.
